Fine & Country - Darlington

Darlington has been developed as a market town and at the heart is the historical Market Square. On Saturdays and Bank Holidays, an open air market is held here for locals and tourists. The town is surrounded by the Tees Valley countryside.

The city is renowned for being a huge part of the start of the railway service. The first passenger train took place on the Stockton & Darlington railway in 1825, with Darlington being developed as a major railway town.
